James joined Robert J. Kidney & Co in 2002 and was appointed partner in 2014, having previously worked as a manager within the firm. He specialises in the area of Audit and Assurance and heads up the firm’s Business Support Services.

James has significant experience in a broad a range sectors including retail, manufacturing, technology, education, healthcare, professional services, hospitality, construction and not for profit organisations.

James provides advisory services in areas including Revenue and banking negotiations, restructuring and assisting clients with grant aid applications. In addition he acted as financial controller (on secondment) to one of Ireland’s largest public hospitals.

James’ core areas of expertise include, audit and compliance services, internal control, accounting systems review and implementation, bookkeeping, payroll, personal and corporate tax
